Geared Up For Fitness
NOT CONTENT with climbing Snowdon recently, Sports Minister and
Clwyd West AM, Alan Pugh, got on his bike to promote a new Assembly sports initiative.
Last Monday Mr Pugh completed a gruelling 250-mile cycle ride from Holyhead to Cardiff Bay.
The journey began three days before and was undertaken to meet with local council chiefs to discuss the Assembly's new 'Climbing Higher Strategy' for Sports and active recreation.
The AM prepared for his journey by regularly cycling on the coastal cycle path between Kinmel Bay and Colwyn Bay.
